Creams sit on the skin's surface and can hydrate the top layer. Filler is placed beneath the skin and physically restores volume — adding structure, smoothing folds, refining contour. They do different things.
When dosed correctly, yes. BiViDerma's gel is designed to integrate with the surrounding tissue — it moves with your face, not against it. Over-injecting causes the "done" look. Less is more, and your clinician will refuse to over-treat you.
Roughly 9 months in fine areas (lips, tear trough) and up to 18 months in deeper structural areas (cheekbone, jawline, chin). Movement-heavy zones break the gel down faster.
BiViDerma is registered with Ecuador's health authority (ARCSA-2023-3.3-0000041) and made in ISO 13485-certified facilities. Most side effects — swelling, bruising — are minor and resolve in 1–2 weeks. Serious complications are rare and your clinician is trained to manage them.
Some patients do, some don't. Avoiding ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oil and alcohol for the week before treatment lowers the risk. A blunt-tip cannula (used in most mid-face areas) reduces bruise rate by about 40%.
You can go back to work the same day. Swelling peaks at 24–72 hours and looks worse before it looks better. Bruising, if any, settles within a week. Final result by day 14.

Yes — almost completely. An enzyme called hyaluronidase dissolves HA filler within hours. This is one of the main safety advantages of HA over permanent fillers, and your clinician keeps it on hand.
Wait 2 weeks before judging — most concerns resolve as swelling settles. At your review appointment we'll discuss adjustments. If something genuinely needs to be undone, hyaluronidase can dissolve it.
Less than people expect. Every BiViDerma syringe contains lidocaine, and we apply topical anaesthetic before injection. Most patients describe it as pressure rather than pain.
No. We don't treat anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding — not because we have evidence of harm, but because formal safety data in this population doesn't exist. Wait until after weaning.
